This years competition looks a lot more open than recent years with the producers getting better and better at keeping the winner a secret.

2020 Bachelor Stakes Odds & Picks – Bob Baffert’s Eight Rings the 5/2 Favorite
The 2020 Bachelor Stakes Odds at Oaklawn Park are out for Saturday, April 25th. The odds makers at Bovada Racebook have the odds out to bet on and Eight Rings is posted as the 5/2 favorite. This race is race #9 on the Oaklawn Park schedule Saturday with post time scheduled for 5:45 PM EST. The 100,000 Bachelor Stakes will go 6 furlongs on dirt and has a field of 9 three-year olds.
Eight Rings is the favorite and the Bob Baffert trained colt will be making his three-year old debut with jockey Joel Rosario on him from the 7 post. Baffert had planned on starting his three-year old campaign at the $200,000 Oaklawn Stakes at 1 1/8 miles on April 11th but decided to hold him back for the Bachelor at 6 furlongs. Eight Rings hasn’t raced since finishing a disappointing 6th at the G1 TVG Breeders’ Cup Juvenile at Santa Anita Park on November 1, 2019.
