Monday Main Event
Monday night will be a biggie for reigning WWE Champ Drew McIntyre.
Monday Night Madness Monday is the new Friday! Head out to Main Event on Monday nights for all you can play activities or games for only $10.95 per guest after 4pm! About our Event. Monday on Main Street is an exclusive filmmaker social held each year in Park City, UT, during the Sundance Film Festival. It’s a chance for accomplished industry professionals to mix and mingle in a lively, upscale setting right in the heart of the fest. The Main Event is a professional wrestling television program that was produced by the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). There were five shows between 1988 and 1991. Only the first three The Main Event episodes were shown live on NBC.
As revealed in a 30-second promo on SmackDown, McIntyre will answer Goldberg's title challenge for the 2021 Royal Rumble. Pretty much everybody knows his answer already - Drew will say yes and the Rumble will have two of the most random 'World Title' showdowns in recent memory.
Adam Pearce has already been named as an unlikely challenger for Roman Reigns' Universal Title on the same pay-per-view.
Drew McIntyre – WWE Championship Match: Raw, Nov. Opinion: This is a match that we have seen several times and while it has been a while since it has gone down, I’m not wild on just throwing out a pay per view main event level match. Traverse the great expanse of gravity ropes and take a trip down bowling lane. Main Event is your spring break destination. Explore it all with All Activity Pass for $14.99 before noon or $19.99 after noon.
Following that (or maybe before it - WWE's promo vid seemed to suggest that McIntyre would deal with the Goldberg business first), Drew will go one-on-one with old rival Randy Orton. The headliner hasn't been announced as a title bout, but that could change before Monday's show.
Of course, McIntyre and Orton were regular foes in 2020. They worked several stunning brawls using gimmicks like the 'Ambulance' match stip and Hell In A Cell. The pair also had a solid 'No DQ' match on the 16 November edition of Raw. That's when McIntyre won his belt back.
Monday's Raw is the latest chapter in their feud, but it'll surely play back up to the Goldberg announcement.
