Ignition Poker Lobby

Poker players at Ignition Casino are becoming increasingly incensed at the seemingly constant disconnection problems at the poker room as of late.
Both cash games and tournaments are affected to the point where it is practically useless to log on and play, according to posters at 2 + 2. The tables seem to freeze up on a regular basis, timing out players who invariably lose any money or chips risked in the current hand to those players who have the good fortune not to experience the software issues for the moment.
'Dude if Ignition doesn’t fix their POS software I'm going to leave the site and never return,' posted a frustrated 'DeepStack bMAC.' 'It's getting absolutely absurd. In 20 minutes my tables have frozen up 5 times. It's to the point that risking money in a pot is -EV regardless of the players at the table because the software will freeze and time you out mid pot.'
Poker players at Ignition Casino are becoming increasingly incensed at the seemingly constant disconnection problems at the poker room as of late. Both cash games and tournaments are affected to the point where it is practically useless to log on and play, according to posters at 2 + 2. The software at Ignition Poker is pretty much industry standard. It comes with all the features poker players expect these days and has a smooth feel to it and an uncluttered lobby. Everything you need for recreational play is provided and multi-table players will find it simple and straightforward to organise their game play. Ignition Casino has remodeled its cash game lobby, converting it from the traditional style in which players can view all the tables and choose one or many as they please to what it calls a Quick Seat lobby, where players just select a few game options and are automatically seated. Some have surmised that the problems began when Ignition revamped their cash game lobby to that of the 'Quick Seat' variety back in April. Players can no longer scan the cash game lobby and choose which table to join and are instead asked to request their game type, the limit format, and the maximum number of seats at the table.

Getting Worse
Those sentiments were echoed by a number of players, including this author who can attest to the disconnection problems first-hand. The software issues have been ongoing for at least the last couple of weeks and the problem seems to be getting worse instead of better.
Back on May 20, 'Rich Checkmaker' informed fellow online forum posters that he he was 'kicked off my tables. ignition is crap.'
Ignition honchos have acknowledged the problem and posted this message on Facebook on June 2:
'We’ve recently been experiencing software issues that are impacting some of our players’ game play. We’re aware of the issue and are working diligently in getting it resolved as quickly as possible. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you and thank you for your understanding.'
Players have reported receiving free tournament tickets after voicing their complaints to Ignition support. However, what good is a tourney ticket when the same problems continue?
Quick Seat Quagmire
Some have surmised that the problems began when Ignition revamped their cash game lobby to that of the 'Quick Seat' variety back in April. Players can no longer scan the cash game lobby and choose which table to join and are instead asked to request their game type, the limit format, and the maximum number of seats at the table.
Players are then whisked to the table of their choosing among those choices, many times finding themselves alone. We can debate the merits of the quick seat format and how it is supposed to protect recreational players from being hunted by sharks.
However, anonymous tables already alleviated the bum-hunting issue, so this quick seating silliness is just another cause for frustration among players. Coupled with the disconnection problems, a good number of Ignition players have apparently reached their boiling point and have already or perhaps will soon look at their hole cards elsewhere unless the poker room can quickly right the ship.
'Me and my 2 friends both play on here,' commented 'Shawn M Michael' in response to Ignition's Facebook post acknowledging the software issues. 'We were so pissed thinking about cashing out and playing somewhere else.'

Manual Import Of Ignition Hand Histories
The Ignition software allows you to download hand history files for hands that you play after 24 hours have elapsed, for about 1 week. These hand histories include the hole cards of all players, and if you import them into Holdem Manager 3 (even after importing grabbed hands) all of the hole card information will be available for analysis.
To do this click on Account in the Ignition lobby; go to the Hand History page and choose Game Transactions. Select your game type and the period you want to view. On the right you will see buttons to allow you to download each session you played.
The files will be downloaded to a 'Hand History' folder within your Ignition skin's installation folder. By default this will be something like C:Users{UserName}Ignition Casino PokerHand History
Please ensure that the site software is running in English before you download your hand histories so that English hand histories are downloaded. Holdem Manager 3 does not understand histories in other languages, and only English histories will import.
You can set the language using the dropdown menu at the top of the lobby window.
Make sure you first enabled the Tools - Settings - Import - [x] 'Allow report of hand histories' option before importing. Then, to import these files into Holdem Manager 3, go to File / Import Folder or Import Files. Select the folder or files of the hands you just downloaded and import them into Holdem Manager 3.
Play a hand or two of low stakes poker on Ignition with Holdem Manager 3 open.
Open Tools / Site Settings:
- Click Ignition in the site list on the left or add Ignition by clicking the 'Add More Sites' option at the bottom of the left column.
- Click Auto Detect and Holdem Manager 3 will add the Hand History file location if it's not already there.
Double check and make sure Holdem Manager 3 has the Auto Import Hand History folder setup correctly for Ignition. (See Images Above)
- Default Ignition Hand History file location: C:UsersYOUR_PC_NAMEAppDataRoamingMax Value SoftwareHoldem Manager3.0HandHistoryIgnition
If Holdem Manager 3 is importing Ignition Poker hands, the Holdem Manager 3 HUD will be displayed on cash ring game tables with the exception of Zone Poker (Fast Poker).
Preferred Seating allows your HUD to be displayed next to the correct player. If you have HUD alignment issues, setting up Preferred Seating will fix it.
